It just mounting brakets, nuts and bolts that come with the "kit." The description says nothing about it just being a mounting kit...buyer beware.

(More customer reviews)ORDER WAS PLACED FOR A 2005 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY 2D. AMAZON confirmed it fit my truck. Delivery was prompt and fast via UPS.
AFTER PLACEMENT ON BED RAIL, DISCOVERED that the top side did not clear the cab height. The top bar blocked the cab rear facing brake lite/cab bed lites.
There were only 2 "J" shaped bolts to hook into the front pocket as the Ford's top rail cannot be accessed to bolt to the rack's predrilled base.
I had to purchase 2 3/8" carriage bolts, shaped it to a "J" to bolt the front pre drilled holes to the bed rail lip to secure the rack.
This rack is poorly constructed and not for a Ford Super Duty cab.
I intend to modify it by raising it 2" at the base to clear the top of my truck's cab.

Backrack 10500 Safety Rack Review

(More customer reviews)I'm 53 years old and recently drove my four wheeler through the back window of my pickup truck while loading up for a camping trip in Wyoming back country. To make matters worse, my 79 year old Dad was watching. After the comment, "Nice one Kell", I calmly finished loading (without the back window) and went camping. As soon as I got back I ordered this Back Rack. This thing is built so tough I could not drive dear old Dad through the back window. Remember when ordering this thing to order the mounting kit with it, as the rack comes by itself. This thing is a "must" for four wheel haulers!

(More customer reviews)upon delivery the box was all torn up and even the ups guys was skeptical whether everything was still in the package. Fortunately everything was as it was wrapped twice in a foam blanket. Piecing it together was a snap, installation was another thing.This may not apply to you but IF you have a truck box your in for a real treat. Prepare your self for some lengthy drilling, the base plates are a low grade steel that eases this task slightly. Apart from that it only cuts the useable area of your bed roughly 2-2 1/2 inches, if you have a truck box it WILL fit between the support brackets on the rack. The amount of visibility you lose is insignificant and the slats help keep your trucks interior cool.
