(More customer reviews)I just hung this thing up in the closet where I hang my tools. So far it's holding 9 screwdrivers, 3 chisels, a 16 oz and a 22 oz hammer, and finally a 2 lb. sledge. (I tried hanging the monkey wrench, but I think that was too much for the magnet with everything else on it. Believe me, there isn't room for it anyway.) This magnet is STRONG! I was worried that the tools might fall off easily, but I don't see that being a problem now.
Basically, I'm really impressed with how great this thing works, and I plan on buying a few more for my shop and around the house.
Just be sure to screw it into the studs or something that will hold all of the weight that you'll put on it. It comes with large sheet-rock anchors, and some heavy duty screws, but I would bet that the sheet-rock will give way before this magnet does! If you plan on using it to hold kitchen knives or something light like that, the screws and anchors should work fine though.
(Also, the rack doesn't come with wood screws, so you'll probably need to use you own if you decide to hang it the way I suggested. But it only needs two screws, so no big deal.)

Michigan Industrial Tools 3/8" Drive Professional Socket Holder Review

(More customer reviews)I was looking for something to carry my sockets around with. I got really tired of walking back and forth to my tool box. These racks are an exellent value rack. The sockets fit very snug to the rack which is most important to me. I think for some people that complain alot, this could be a problem. The handle has a tendences to try to slid its way off the rail but a little hot glue fixed that! It far beats paying $5 a rail from Craftsman! This rail fits the sockets more securely than craftsman. One guy complained about the clips and rail being sharp. I admit they feel a little sharp, but I never had a problem with it. I didn't think it was all that bad. I love these rails! They're good. I'll go without socket racks if I ever pay $5 a rail from Craftsman ever again.

Lisle 40210 Green 3/8" Magnetic Socket Holder Review

(More customer reviews)Sockets have been the bane of my existence. No matter how carefully I put them down, they seem to end up rolling around on the floor or in the toolchest. I used to waste a good 5-10 minutes per task simply sorting through them to find the right one. Given some of my projects would require 3-4 different socket sizes, this chewed up time. I tried the vertical plastic holders sold at Sears; these are the types where you drop the socket on a stick. Fail. The sticks would break off, deep and large-diameter sockets wouldn't fit properly/securely, the whole tray would slide around and they weren't really portable.
This tray has solved my problem. There's a long magnet underneath the tray to hold the tray to the toolchest or other metallic surface. There's a magnet at each socket slot, holding the socket in the slot. First, the bad news: they really are green, the green is an ugly fluorescent green and they are designed for graded sockets. Basically, you can't put 10 24 mm deep sockets in them and they don't look pretty. Now, the good news: the magnets are strong, sockets fit, hex bits fit, torx bits fit, there's a carrying handle and they are fairly rugged. I turned them upside down and shook them pretty vigorously and couln't get any of the sockets to fall out.

Vim Tools V515 Wrench Rack - 12 Piece Review

(More customer reviews)This wrench holder is priced amazing, and very sturdy, the only issue I have with it is that some of my larger wrenches would not fit in the slot.
if you have snap on or some of the thinner brands there should not be a problem but on the bigger wrenches I had to bend a tab down and use 2 slots to hold 1 wrench. Good thing it was cheep so that I had bought 2 of them.

Toolbox Wrench Organizer Review

(More customer reviews)Does what is says. Fits in a 16x22 tool chest drawer (mine is a Craftsman) and holds a lot of wrenches. I put some rubber padding down between the drawer and organizer to prevent any shifting or rubbing. I don't give it much abuse but it stores my tools just fine and seems durable (it is plastic but seems reasonably sturdy). This is a nice low cost option for a do-it-yourself person and it gets you tools out of the plastic box they came in.

Garden Tool Organizer Review

I wanted to hang rakes, shovels, etc as well as some other assorted things and don't feel it is really up to that task. Will use it for some smaller items. The plastic pegs are in my mind kind of useless. Think I would have been better off spending some more, putting a 2X4 cross piece and screw in holders for my tools.

(More customer reviews)Every winter I loose a couple of the hooks as they can't handle weight in cold conditions. I live in NH and in the winter it can get a little cold. Most of the time the garage is about 40-50 degrees but when I need to do work outside and keep the doors open it can get a little colder. In these conditions, the plastic hooks will break when you try to hang anything from them. I would not buy these again.

(More customer reviews)I originally bought this item @ a local store, after going aha! all my tool storage problems solved. It was easy to put together and use, saving me tons of space. After a years' use the item seems to sag a bit more than usual and the base where the tools sit is breaking through more frequently. I guess what I need for my use is the same design in metal and fastened to the wall stud. Overall its a great design that is limited by the material its made of.
