(More customer reviews)Bought this for primarily for long half-day rides in Ocotillo in our quads. I have a Honda TRX700XX and a rear rack (Honda 700XX Rear Sport Rack Kit) that doesn't have a ton of space so I couldn't use one of those bigger rear-rack bags. This bag is really just the right size for what I'd want to pack in it anyway, if not bigger. Plenty of space in the two main compartments, plus they sort of collapse in if they're not full. The two outside pockets have a hard-shell and feel very durable and decent size, I could easily fit both of my hands in one pocket. The cooler pocket (also a little bit bigger than I'd have thought) looks nice. I will probably put ice and cold packs and maybe 6-8 drinks in there and still bring a few water bottles in the main compartment, or I could even put a small 6-pack size cooler bag in there quite easily if I wanted to. This feels really strong and well made. If it flew off my quad and tumbled down a hill I doubt there would be any damage to it at all. There doesn't appear to be any weak points on it at all, though I haven't tested it out on the trail yet. It has two rack straps on each side which seem strong and I'm sure are strong enough if riding pretty easy, but my rides are usually very fast and very bumpy so I'm not going to take a chance on the heavy vibration tearing them off and I'll still use a tie-down to hold the bag down. The rain/dust cover is nice too. It pops out of the middle and is tethered so it's not going to fly away as you're racing down the trail. I'll give an update on this after a couple times out in the desert.
UPDATE: Went out once with this, which included 2 long rides thru the desert. The straps feel very strong but I still wrapped a bungy around it just in case. Really like the toughness and the space of it. One small negative is that the cover already tore a few inches along the seam. I'm just going to glue it together, I *think* that will do the trick. The tethered cover was really nice to have though, and even with the tear and the price I'd still give this 5 stars.
UPDATE 2: A couple more times out and the rain/dust cover still wants to come apart at the seams. The (goop) glue worked well to repair but going to have to do the same at other points along the seams. Another thing I'm realizing is I wish it didn't collapse so easily. There is no support on the sides so even with just the 4 side-straps to secure it to your rack it pulls it down and squishes anything you might have in it. It's still nice and feels very durable (besides the cover), just wish it had some side-support to help it keep it's shape at least a little bit.
