(More customer reviews)I own two kayaks and I own two different J-racks. The Malone Autoloader is by far the easier to load. I am short and it is not easy for me to get my kayak onto my Subaru wagon. The Malone rack has the loading ramps so once the hull is on the ramps I can just shove it in. With my other rack, I have to lift up and over (what a chore!) Last summer I bought the Malone Telos load assist module that makes loading my kayaks very easy. This system is half the price of the Thule loader, and I only had to buy one Telos for the two kayaksMalone Telos Kayak Load Assist Module for Malone AutoLoader XV Kayak Carrier. It is easy to check on the Malone website as to whether your car's crossbars will work with this carrier.

(More customer reviews)I'm gonna make this short - it's a little difficult to mount securely to some rails, particularly if you have a bed liner. Second, they're a little on the expensive side. My recommendation - buy some cheap traps, and mount them to a board. Use a cable lock to secure your bikes. And, it will keep your bikes down out of the road bugs.

the quality control was lacking. There is a folding arm with a
locking pin to lock the arm in the up position but the pin would
not go in until I relocated the centering bushings. Unfortunatly
this was easier than sending the product back. Once this was center-
ed correctly, the pin worked as it should.

Rola 59150 Pursuit Folding Roof Top Carrier Review

(More customer reviews)I've used two different bag carriers in the past. Both were pains to use, especially in winter, when the zippers and fabric were stiff. In those cases, too, the zippers were on top, difficult to reach and stuff luggage. This Rola was a relief for my budget and back. Sturdy aluminum frame in a bottom sleeve that's separate from luggage compartment (although part of a bracket ripped my inner fabric while inserting frame). Flexible soft-side design has allowed me to fit a large family tent, 6 sleeping bags, about 6 duffel/backpacks, and 3 folded air mattresses (easily stuffed from one of 3 zippered doors with weather flaps). On my 04 Durango, with crossbars, installation was simple and allowed enough room alongside for 6 camp chairs. I deducted a star b/c fabric ripped and instructions were poorly written. I love the collapsibility and provided rain fly. Although I was searching for a reasonable shell carrier, this seems like it is a better value. Smart design!

Thule Fit Kit for 400XT and Rapid Aero Foot (2) Review

(More customer reviews)Ordered the Thule Fit Kit for my 2000 Mercedes E430 Sport. Had a little trouble getting the kit installed w/ the Thule RB47 Rapid Aero Aluminum Roof Rack Load Bars and Thule 400XTR Aero Rapid Roof Rack Foot Pack, it was a bit of a struggle getting the screws locked in, since I was performing the install directly on the car roof. Once I took all the pieces off, connected the fit kit to the load bars and fit kit off of the car and then loaded all the pieces together it worked. I need to buy the Thule skirt so that it blocks out the wind noise while driving. While driving there are no issues - at around 75-80mph I had no issues.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a way to carry our skis, and found out that buying a complete roof rack with a ski tank will be somewhere in the $800 range. I already had a dingy roof rack (one that connects with suction cups and belts to the car, but that one wouldn't have worked with the regular ski racks out there.
So instead I opted for the Raxstars, they fitted my roof rack perfectly and did their work.
The skis didn't budge the whole drive on the highways.
It takes you around 4-5 minutes to get the thing in place, and it will be hard to do it with ski gloves on, but as long as you can stand being out of your gloves for that amount of time you are fine.
Overall a very good solution for those of us who are looking for a cheaper way to carry skis.

(More customer reviews)Works OK, just is not user friendly when trying to install it on various vehicles with different body plastic, i.e. Chrysler Town n Country: Due to hitch being resessed under van, not enough 2 inch receiver sticking out to proper secure it. Doge Power wagon 2500 Welding to thick at neck of receiver and only wat to install anti-rattle was to turn it upside down and tightn the screws. Works well in that position.

(More customer reviews)I'm fairly satisfied with the lounger. But it really could be better. So first the bad cooler could stand to be a lot bigger it will hold a couple bottles of water and a little bit of ice, really not what i would expect for a cooler. I would have thought that you would be at least able to put a 6 pack of water in there with the ice and some sandwiches. Also I would have expected a better latching system it seems like after a few years the rubber pulls will break. Also I haven't had it out on the trails yet so I'm not sure how water tight it is yet. I'll get back to you and let you know when I do. Now for the good . It seems to be built very well and should have no problem handling the trails. Just running it up and down the street the kids love it all you can here while driving is them giggling and laughing the whole way. It's like having a tour pack from your harley on your quad. It gives the kids a nice secure place to sit and has plenty of storage space. Well worth money when you buy it from Amazon.

Roof Rack Locking Cross Bars Jeep Liberty Review

(More customer reviews)I hadn't unlocked the bars for about 8 months and they had been exposed to very little moisture (southern NM). When I turned the lightweight aluminum key to unlock the bars it unexpectedly snapped off at the edge of the key hole. This made it nearly impossible to get the key out, and I only have one key. Although the rack and crossbars are still functional, it defeats the advantage of having a secure system. Also, at about 45 mph the bars issue a loud whistling sound. I don't recommend this product.

I guess it was okay for the money but I bought it so my 8 year old daughter could ride with me and feel a little more secure. This is not the pack for that. It's not at sturdy as I thought it would be and does not stand up like the picture shows without putting something in it. I ended up giving it to my son so he could put things in it to use around the farm and I bought a Moose rack pack from my dealer. It cost a little more but was worth it.
