I have to say, you should feel comfortable doing work on the car, have good power tools, and not have a bumper that goes very low that you have to cut. You will probably need a helper.
The product is very well built. the welds are solid, the coating looks durable. The customer service is top notch. I think it comes directly from the manufacturer in a very sturdy box.

Seeing this for almost half of what the others go for, I was a little leery of it at first. But it is very well made, heavy duty, with good solid hoops on either end that open and close with a nice smooth feel. I'm well pleased with it.

Thule 668ES Frontier Rooftop Cargo Box Review

Thule 668ES Frontier Rooftop Cargo Box
Average Reviews:

This is a great carrier. We are a family of skiers. This carrier was easy to install and I have put in it two snow boards, two long sets of adult skis, two pairs of kids skis, and poles for the whole family. This allows us to take a better gas mileage vehicle skiing and still fit all of the gear, or to have room for groceries in the van when we come back down off the ski hill.

Rola 59402 Three Bike Trunk Mounted Carrier Review

Rola 59402 Three Bike Trunk Mounted Carrier
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bought this bike rack based on the fact that pricing was good and this brand sells in alot of the bike stores. Amazon shipping etc was great as usual!! Installed rack on my car and the upper right strap wouldn't stay tight and hold up any of the weight. I needed to use the bike rack so I used some rope etc to make it work (which it did). When I went to take the bike down, the rubber strap that holds one of the bikes was snapped. I called the company to get replacement straps so I wouldn't have to send the bike rack back. Haven't seen the straps from Rolo and no one has returned my e-mails asking for status, so hence I sent this thing back to Amazon to order a different brand, like Allen who seems to get great reviews. All of the straps on this bike rack are lousy, this rack is not worth the money.

UNIVERSAL 4 Bike T-RaxPRO Hitch Review

UNIVERSAL 4 Bike T-RaxPRO Hitch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was generally disappointed with this rack and returned it. It wasn't a terrible rack, but it wasn't great either, and I wanted something solid.
1. One thing I liked about the rack was the ability to move the mounts for each of the 4 bikes forward and back. Unfortunately, these mounts do not have the grip to stay in place. When I had 1 bike mounted closest to the car, after taking it for a ride my bike ended up halfway back on the rack and at about a 25 degree angle - it wasn't parallel with the back of the rack any more. I was *not* concerned about the bikes coming off the rack because the end of each rack arm there's a stopper thing bolted on (the bright yellow piece), but I didn't like the bike's position jumping around like that when it was on the rack.
2. I imagine that for the same reasons, if you put more than one bike on the rack they would end up squished and banging against each other by the end of the ride.
3. If you place a single bike on the very back mount, it doesn't slide around like that. But it does bounce up and down quite a bit. When it's on the mount closest to the car it doesn't bounce much if at all, but when it's on the back mount there's definitely bounce when you go over a bump. I will say that this version of the rack with the screw-in hitch pin was less bouncy than the previous "Hassle Free Hitch" version which I was able to try from a local bike shop.
4. The cable lock is just a short span of cable that locks the outermost bike on the rack - it is simply impossible for you to mount a single bike closest to the car and use the lock. This isn't so bad if you have a bike mounted on the outermost mount because it blocks any of the other bikes from being taken off, but I was surprised.
5. Assembling the rack requires several additional tools not included with the rack - according to the installation video (I don't recall the sizes offhand so I checked) you need -
A. A 3/4th inch wrench.
B. A 2nd 3/4th inch wrench. Though the 2nd one is just used to hold the nut on one side, so I was able to use one of those adjustable wrenches that I had.
C. And one 9/16 inch wrench.
Regarding the 3/4th wrench, it's used both for securing one of the bolts that holds the rack together and for the hitch bolt. On my hitch I actually needed one of those "clicky" wrenches because a regular wrench was to big to fit in the space I had around the hitch. Couldn't use the adjustable wrench either, for the same reasons, so you'll probably need to buy a new tool.
6. Security-wise, the only thing that attaches to the rack part of the rack to the hitch part of the rack is a standard bolt, so someone could steal most of the rack and all the bikes with a simple wrench, even with the locking hitch pin. The good news is that there's no reason to be able to remove these bolts, so if you wanted the rack to be more secure you could always tighten or weld them, I believe. (Though if you were leaving bikes on the rack in that case I would suggest a sturdy lock than a cable lock).
7. I had a strap-on rack before this rack (Saris Bones), and once you strapped it on it was rock solid. This rack was never rock solid - as I mentioned, with a bike on the back it bounced noticeably. Unfortunately, after doing a bunch of reading it appears all racks are like this.
8. Changing the position of the arms of the rack to point down so they didn't stick out while the bikes were on required removing then reinserting a pin, and reinserting the pin was a little bit fussy. Thule racks have a thing you just press down to the do the same thing. Now the pin is more steady and doesn't have a little bit of flop like the Thule mechanism did...but since the rack jumped around a bit anyways, I'm not sure it ended up mattering.
9. I didn't have a chance to try it, but it definitely would have been a tight fit to fit 4 bikes on it.
10. I had thought it would be faster to put on than my "strap to the car" rack. However, it requires a tool to do it (the older hassle free hitch version doesn't, but bounces around a little more) and takes some time and some fiddling - getting the pin through the hitch was annoying sometimes. I don't mean that this is any different than any other hitch mounted racks, but I was disappointed. And unlike the strap racks, you would need a fairly large trunk to leave it in your trunk (of course you could also just leave it attached to the hitch all the time).
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Things I did like about the rack -
1. Though the mounts might move around a bit, the clicky straps that hold the bike to the mounts were very secure and I wasn't worried at all that the bike would come off them. At not point was I concerned at all that the bikes might come off the rack.
2. It wasn't terribly heavy like the Thule racks seemed to be.
3. Saris customer service actually had a phone number, answered their phone, and could answer questions about the racks - they didn't give me any "blow smoke up your arse" answers are either, which was great.
4. Like most hitch racks, I was able to get into the trunk/hatch with the rack on and bikes on the rack.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Some of my complaints are specific to the Saris rack, and some of them aren't, but overall I had thought a hitch rack would be better than the "attach with straps" kind of rack, and was rather disappointed.

Thule TTFS-1 Black Front Seat Organizer Review

Thule TTFS-1 Black Front Seat Organizer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Front Seat Organizer is a nice looking and durable bag for carrying laptop, files, papers, etc. It's made of a tough fabric with large sturdy handles and lots of inside dividers and pockets to keep everything neat. The fact that it can be strapped in so that it doesn't slide around in the car is a nice bonus.
I have a couple of small issues with the bag which made it 3 stars instead of 4 stars. The bag doesn't zip or close in any way so any items in the bag are clearly visible and easily accessible to thieves. Also, if you're running through the rain, your papers and electronics are exposed to the weather. Secondly, my husband has an older laptop and it's a bit bulkier than the newer models. He has a hard time squeezing it into the bag. For anyone who spends all day in their car and needs easy access to files, laptop and misc. items related to business, this bag serves as a portable filing cabinet and I can see that it would be a big help.

Honda Pilot and Ridgeline Bike Attachment - Trailer Hitch Type 2003 -2011 Review

Honda Pilot and Ridgeline Bike Attachment - Trailer Hitch Type 2003 -2011
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this from my dealer with my new Pilot Touring, but ended up returning it and getting the Thule roof mount system. I thought that this would allow you to load up two bikes and then swing them out of the way to access the hatch. It doesn't you must remove the bikes from the rack and - only after removing the bikes - it allows you to pivot the rack downwards towards the ground to access the hatch. It is actually easier - once the bikes are removed - to just pull it out of the hitch receiver and remove the rack than it is to pull the pin and pivot the whole thing down.
This might work OK for someone as an inexpensive solution, but don't expect you will be able to access your hatch with a loaded rack. It doesn't work the same way as the similar hitch mount Thule system (which is three times the price).

Lund 601015 Aero Bag Waterproof Roof Top Carrier Review

Lund 601015 Aero Bag Waterproof Roof Top Carrier
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We mounted this on our Sienna and traveled 900 miles to New Mexico. It was able to withstand both rain and hail because everything stayed dry. The two main complaints about this product is that it is not truly aerodynamic and the zipper is not smooth. At 80 MPH, the wind compressed the front of the carrier making it look like a rectangular box. The zipper works but it was very hard to negotiate around the corners. One last thing I have to mention is that it was hard to open to put our items in it. You have to use one hand to hold the top piece back while using the other hand to load your items. The alternative would be to get help from another person. It also comes with two long straps with buckles that was easy to mount. Overall, this product is good for one to two road trips per year.

Curt Manufacturing 13088 Class III Receiver Review

Curt Manufacturing 13088 Class III Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this for my brother's 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. After installing this and re-stroing my spare tire under the truck, we had some minor fitting issues; the spare tire was extrememly tight when storing. The trailer bar forces the spare tire to go back a little bit getting very close to what the service manual calls the "Panhard rod". If you have a R50, you should be able to see this rod just in front of your spare tire, just above the rear transaxle. I was worried that when going over bumps and such this might start bumping up against the panhard rod. Of course, I will say that occasional bumps to the panhard rod doesn't seen to be detrimental to the overall handling of the truck, but nonetheless, I like to do things right, and when things start rubbing or bumping up against each other, I feel that it's not necessarily "right". On my personal car, a 2001 Qx4 (same chasis), I have the Curt Manufacturing 13156 model, which is the round-tube counterpart to this hitch. When I removed my Curt hitch (Qx4) and installed it on my brother's Pathfinder, his spare tire went up just fine, snug against the hitch.
Snug against the hitch is different than bumping up against the panhard rod, as that is intergral to the suspension, whereas you can consider the hitch part of the frame.
So with that, i would suggest you go with the roundtube design rather than this square tube. At the time I purchased the roundtube, I chose it for design, now I'm glad I got it as I avoided this potential issue with the square tube design making a tight fit for the spare wheel.
I rated this 3stars, because it is functional, and I have no doubt that this hitch can perform up to it's specifications. If it weren't for the tight fit, I would have rated this a 5-star. So, if you either don't care about the fitment or you don't have a spare tire down there, then this is fine. Again, I can't say that the tight fitting of the spare will have any adverse effects on the panhard rod, but personally I don't like the idea of it possibly rubing against the panhard rod. I have no quality issues with this hitch whatsoever. Just fitting.

I bought this after having problems finding a suitable holder for larger wrenches. I have Snap On short wrenches and all the Blue Point holders didnt work out, but this holder does the job. It was mentioned in another review the holder isnt designed to tote the wrenches and thats true. The magnets are only strong enough to keep the wrenches secure in your tool box. Also the way the holder is designed you can fit very large wrenches on it with no problem, I was worried I wouldnt be able to use all 15 holders if I used large wrenches but it works out just fine. I showed a coworker how nicely the wrenches are secured and stored and he also thought it was a great product. I will be ordering more!!!
