(More customer reviews)Who knows how well this product will work, since we had to order two other pieces to use with it and are still waiting for THIS PIECE to be delivered. We ordered this in Jan. 2011 and all of the products were in stock when ordered. Suddenly the price went up on this 3rd piece by $30 and we are still waiting for it. Everything else remains unusable in our garage without it. Unable to send the other pieces back due to weight and return cost of shipping. So we sit and wait. Thank goodness the winter was better than last year.
I guess we will just have to wait and see if it's ever delivered, the order is still open. Funny, how Amazon expects a review of something that was NEVER delivered.

(More customer reviews)Bought this for primarily for long half-day rides in Ocotillo in our quads. I have a Honda TRX700XX and a rear rack (Honda 700XX Rear Sport Rack Kit) that doesn't have a ton of space so I couldn't use one of those bigger rear-rack bags. This bag is really just the right size for what I'd want to pack in it anyway, if not bigger. Plenty of space in the two main compartments, plus they sort of collapse in if they're not full. The two outside pockets have a hard-shell and feel very durable and decent size, I could easily fit both of my hands in one pocket. The cooler pocket (also a little bit bigger than I'd have thought) looks nice. I will probably put ice and cold packs and maybe 6-8 drinks in there and still bring a few water bottles in the main compartment, or I could even put a small 6-pack size cooler bag in there quite easily if I wanted to. This feels really strong and well made. If it flew off my quad and tumbled down a hill I doubt there would be any damage to it at all. There doesn't appear to be any weak points on it at all, though I haven't tested it out on the trail yet. It has two rack straps on each side which seem strong and I'm sure are strong enough if riding pretty easy, but my rides are usually very fast and very bumpy so I'm not going to take a chance on the heavy vibration tearing them off and I'll still use a tie-down to hold the bag down. The rain/dust cover is nice too. It pops out of the middle and is tethered so it's not going to fly away as you're racing down the trail. I'll give an update on this after a couple times out in the desert.
UPDATE: Went out once with this, which included 2 long rides thru the desert. The straps feel very strong but I still wrapped a bungy around it just in case. Really like the toughness and the space of it. One small negative is that the cover already tore a few inches along the seam. I'm just going to glue it together, I *think* that will do the trick. The tethered cover was really nice to have though, and even with the tear and the price I'd still give this 5 stars.
UPDATE 2: A couple more times out and the rain/dust cover still wants to come apart at the seams. The (goop) glue worked well to repair but going to have to do the same at other points along the seams. Another thing I'm realizing is I wish it didn't collapse so easily. There is no support on the sides so even with just the 4 side-straps to secure it to your rack it pulls it down and squishes anything you might have in it. It's still nice and feels very durable (besides the cover), just wish it had some side-support to help it keep it's shape at least a little bit.

The hinge and latch system are OK but not the best. I have seen better designs, but this works. The 2" receiver is not rated or ideal for towing and Im wondering if its a strong enough recovery point either??? Im happy with the looks and the fisnish is acceptable too. You can get better & stronger bumpers/tire carriers, but you will also pay for them.

(More customer reviews)Good quality heavy duty touring bags. These are canvas bags and they are one-size-fits-all. I have a short passenger backrest (sissy bar) that is wider than most. However, the bags have several size overlays and one does fit. When using both bags, only one can fit over the backrest. I strap the larger over the backrest and tie it down first. The smaller one is then tied both the my bike and to the larger bag. Overall I am very satisfied with these. However, I have not ridden in the rain using them as of yet.

It came with all necessary equipment however it came with no instructions. but you should be able to figure it out. shortly after installin this, [ week or so later ] I went to move the rig and *nuthin* battery totally dead -- well battery was coupla years old so didn't think much of it -- swapped it out fer NEW one -- week or so later went to move the rig agin -- AGIN NUTHIN! brand NEW battery dead!
Scratchin my head w this development, & checkin circuts fer a draw -- I installed a battery cut off switch to insure battery live when needed.
THEN -- in the process of installin that switch w the shop door closed behind the rig -- I noticed a FLASH of amber light on the door every time I made contact w the switch EUREKA!
IF you purchase onea these lite bars do NOT hook it up to B+ directly as it WILL drain yer battery even when not activated!!!
Worse, when hooked up to *ignition* B+ if you activate it in any mode, shut off the ignition, the NEXT time you turn on the ignition this unit will ACTIVATE ITSELF and run the last pattern used!!!
THIS defect kin result in unintended consequences if you don't happen to notice that it's activated as you begin to drive!
Further -- you kin not activate mode you wish simply by pushin one button [ w the exception of right - left arrows ] you HAVE to scroll thru the available modes by pushin button repeatedly [ somethin you DON'T want to have to do as yer approachin a TC or incident scene ]
I would NOT reccommend this product due to the aforementioned issues!
the pros are its compact, realitively inexpensive, easy to install, attractive and unobtrusive on the roof rack where it's mounted on my SAR rig -- and it's BRIGHT and noticeably effective when workin
[ got a chuckle outta the instruction sheet wordin ]
"Controller and a long row that lights"
anybody want to guess where this is made? ;)
*I'm* stuck w mine -- I'd think twice if I was you bout gittin this --

Well now, here it is, some time later, and I've become used to the problematic scrollin thru the patterns to git the one I want -- don't mean I like doin it, but I'm used to it now --
Never LIKE givin a negative review, so I try to find good things to say as well -- I LIKE how BRIGHT and effective this device is in notifyin oncomin traffic! VERY effective!
and, to you boys who don't like the way I express myself, TOUGH BEANS fellas -- if yer with the company that makes this product FIX the flaws and send me one that don't havem and I'll change my opinion accordinly -- otherwise :P

Starts EVERY time, runs nearly the whole house including the furnace.(No AC) (Will run Window AC). I keep the gas treated, run int once a month or so (As you should ANY gas engine, unless winterized) It is a purchase worth the money.

(More customer reviews)If you install the docking hardware kit on you FLHRC, the saddlebag hinge stop kit has to be installed to avoid damage to the leather on your saddlebag lids. Without the hinge stop kit, when you open the saddlebags, the lid rests against the docking hardware and will leave a permanent depression in the leather covering. This happened to me when I had accessories added to my new bike. The dealer neglected to install the hinge stop kit, or even inform me that it was required. I only found out about the existance of the hinge stop kit when I was looking through the parts and accessories catalog later. I gave the product a bad review, not because it doesn't work, but because you have to buy it seperately for the Road King Classic. It should be included with the docking hardware kit for this specific model. They could just raise the price of the kit accordingly. It's not like you don't have to have it. $35 vs damaging $700 saddlebags is a no-brainer.

6 months later, the leak is very minimal - the car is running well otherwise - and I am happy. It is not a fix or a long term solution, but for the short term - this does the trick.

PylePro - 3-Way Active Stereo Crossover Network - PYX3X Review

(More customer reviews)I have had this product in use for about a year now so I can give a good informed review. The sound is clean and the crossover points work great for my audio system. I have this set up as a two way with the low frequencies going to a subwoofer @90 Hz lowpass and the highpass at 90 going to my Magnaplaner's. The only negative thing I can say about the design is that it does not fit in a 1 rack space as I assumed it would. It is about 1.5 spaces tall so in my set up the screw holes didn't line up the way I wanted and I had to mount it with a little gap on the top and bottom of the x over within my rack mount. Not a big deal but worth considering in planning your set up if you have a rack case. I specifically purchased this because of the RCA connections on the back of the unit. I am fine with the 12db slope of this design, it works great with the high quality of my speakers. If you have smaller mids or cheaper speakers you my want to look at another line that has a steeper crossover slope like 18 or 24 db. Once again that is debatable. No need to spend more money as this crossover product has great clarity and control. A very nice feature of this product is the countinously variable level control for each section (low, mid, high). Just perfect for minor adjustments and fine tuning. The crossover points are selectable in a notched fashion, that is the crossover frequency selection is is not continuously variable. If you by chance are a speaker builder this would be a great crossover to use if you wanted to design a fully active speaker pair. It would allow you to create the ultimate speaker system with full flexibility. If you are a professional musician this unit does not have Balanced line (XLR) inputs/outputs. Just 1/4" unbalanced and RCA's. Perfect for most home uses or home studio play back applications. Summary, great for home use and home studios. Not recommended for situatuions where a XLR balanced line is required.
