(More customer reviews)If you install the docking hardware kit on you FLHRC, the saddlebag hinge stop kit has to be installed to avoid damage to the leather on your saddlebag lids. Without the hinge stop kit, when you open the saddlebags, the lid rests against the docking hardware and will leave a permanent depression in the leather covering. This happened to me when I had accessories added to my new bike. The dealer neglected to install the hinge stop kit, or even inform me that it was required. I only found out about the existance of the hinge stop kit when I was looking through the parts and accessories catalog later. I gave the product a bad review, not because it doesn't work, but because you have to buy it seperately for the Road King Classic. It should be included with the docking hardware kit for this specific model. They could just raise the price of the kit accordingly. It's not like you don't have to have it. $35 vs damaging $700 saddlebags is a no-brainer.
