Its been on there for almost 3 years now and not a speck of corosion, still looks fine.Was a little trickey to install with a sissy bar and had to shim so they didn't contact each other which would rub and eventually rust but take your time and it will all come out just fine. Very handy for a rest where my sissy bar saddle bag sets. I fully recommend this piece,pick one up to add more value to your bike!
