The elastic Stretch Web will keep things stable in the carrier while they are being transported.
I received the Stretch Web alone as a gift, but I still find it useful in securing bulky items loaded on top of my station wagon. The plastic hooks cannot be used here because they don't fit my car's roof rails. Instead, I use various lengths of bungee cords with hooks on both ends to pull and tighten the Stretch Web edges against the rails. This arrangement works well to keep things up on the roof secure, much better than using bungee cords alone.
