(More customer reviews)I needed to adapt the 2" hitch on my Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited to a 1-1/4" Yakima bike rack, and the rack had to clear the rear mount spare. The extension of about 4" from pin-hole to pin-hole was perfect - it allows about 1" of clearance from the tire to the vertical rack post.
