(More customer reviews)I wanted something I could lock in case I decided to detour before heading home after stand up paddling. These tie downs serve the purpose. Great product. Only thing is, sometimes it's hard for me to really get the tension I want because the straps are so thick. I'm not that strong so I have to use my whole weight to pull down on it. But I do eventually get them tight and locked.
