(More customer reviews)This may not be what you think it is. Make sure you know what fitting sizes you need. This item sure didn't fit the 4-ton Blackhawk portopower cylinders and hoses that I have. This order was messed up from the get go. Admittedly, I ordered the wrong coupling the first time, because I assumed that when they say it fits all 4-ton rams, then it fits them all. False. But they _shipped_ the wrong item, and when it was only after they shipped me the part number I had specified that I discovered my own error. So here it was two weeks and two shipments later, and I still had the wrong thing. These fittings are sold by Northern Tools, and while they were very helpful and agreed to exchange the item for another one that seemed to have the right size male end, I ended up paying so much in additional shipping charges that I got almost no refund on the first fitting. When I finally got the coupler with the correct male fitting, it turned out that the female side that connects to the hose was the wrong size. I ended up using the female part from an old fitting, but that required grinding down part of the new fitting to make it work. Ultimately all this was due to my own stupidity - I should have gone to the trouble of really finding out what fitting size fitting was on my cylinder, and what size fitting was required to connect to the hose (part of my laziness was due to the fact that you have to convert the actual size of the fittings to the "pipe size," which seems to have no relationship to the fitting itself). Conclusion: this is one of those things that you should probably buy locally if possible.
