Kolpin 92145 Tank Black Bag Review

The only reason for buying this set of tank bags was due to the nonavailability of the Stearns Mad Dog Tank Bag in black. This set is smaller, not waterproof, and some seams are not well sewn. The flimsy neoprene panel at top that centers over the gas fill cap is not reinforced with a cordura panel, and doesn't cover the full length of the straps that rub the tank. Bag straps slip. The bungee straps/hooks used to secure the bags do not work well in my application (Ural motorcycle). It is almost impossible to reinsert water bottles in the holders using one hand (while riding). The water bottle holders are mesh, sewn in, DO NOT zip out -- or even HAVE zippers -- as advertised. The map pouch shown is not included and I assume the snap bottoms attached in the straps are used to hold the map pouch. I was going to modify the set myself, but the poor seam worksmanship made it not worth the effort. This is the 3rd set of ATV tank bags I've used, so far the poorest quality and fit, and not as advertised.
I purchased this item from Amazon.com and will be returning it to purchase the Mad Dog Tank Bags in the mossy oak pattern. Come on Stearns, let's get cracking and produce more black tank bag sets!

ATV Logic ATV Tank Saddlebags - Mossy Oak Review

This is a really good saddlebag for ATVs. I put it on a Honda 250 utility ATV and it fit great. You unscrew the gas cap and stick it over the filler neck, and then put the cap on. It holds it on. Plus it comes with some velcro to keep the sides from bouncing out. The pockets are very roomy. I put my phone, GPS unit, camera, all that stuff in their. My girlfriend puts her watch and small purse inside so She doesn't have to leave them in the car. It also has a water bottle holder with a drawstring on it witch is pretty handy. I like having this. I don't need a big rack pack, don't have that much stuff to bring along, so this is great.

Motogear Helmet Bag Review

Motogear Helmet Bag
Average Reviews:

CONS: This bag is very snug and somewhat difficult to fit my helmet into. But I will also mention that I wear a XL ICON Domain II helmet that has a little spoiler kind of hanging off the top of the helmet. Does not have enough room to store an extra shield.
PROS: Made very well and offers a good degree of protection without being too bulky. The price was very good.
SUMMARY: Would I buy this bag again? Yes. I like a bag that does not take up a lot of space, has a snug fit and does what it is suppose to do. This bag fits my needs perfectly. Even if it would hold an extra shield I would probably not store one inside for fear it may become scratched or damaged in some way. Shields are too expensive to be messed with too much when not attached to a helmet. I keep my extra shields in my closet in a box designed for that.
