Black Quilted Rear Pet Rider Bicycle Basket Seat Review

(More customer reviews)This would be a great dog seat for a larger small dog (15-25 lbs). My dog is 12 lbs with a short stocky build and the seat was much bigger than necessary. It's huge on the back of your bike (sticks out in all directions), and kind of a hassle to mount. That being said, my neighbor's dog weighs 22 lbs and is too big for most dog bike seats - he fit perfectly in this seat and looked awfully comfortable. She bought it from me and it works great for him, although because of the effort to get it securely atached she doesn't use it often. Bottom line, it's not the most convenient, but it's a handy alternative to the smaller seats/baskets if your dog is pushing the weight limit.

(More customer reviews)I use this tape to protect my carbon fiber bike frame from cable rubbing and chain slap. It's a fantastic product. When I first got my bike, I went throught two other types of frame proctective tapes, both of which wore through or started peeling off after a couple of rides. I've had this tape on for 6 or 7 months now, and it's holding up beautifully! I highly recommmend this product!

(More customer reviews)I ordered this cargo net in preparation for a move from Texas to Northern Virginia. I ordered it three weeks out to allow plenty of shipping time. Unfortunately, what I did not plan for was the item being "out of stock". It was in stock when I ordered it and I even received a shipping notification. Unfortunately, the item was never received by the shipper and I was not notified of a stock problem until after I had phoned the vendor three times. Finally, on the third call I was told the item was out of stock and to not expect the item anytime soon. I requested and recieved a refund. The one star rating is for the vendor and not the product since I never did receive the cargo net.

Original Dog Bike Trailer Review

(More customer reviews)We have two dogs 12 and 13 pounds and they love riding in their trailer. They can't keep up with our bikes but we like to take them when we go out riding. The DoggyRide trailers are great. There are three models, the "Original" is shown and our "Novel" model is pictured with Barnie and Rockey. There is also a smaller model. They are made in Holland and are very well made. They fold down for storing or packing into the car. Our Novel model holds dogs or loads up to 120 pounds. With our little guys, I hardly know it is there. Our Novel model trailer has a flip down parking stand (keeps it level when not attached to bike), rain flap, two storage pockets in the back, has two D rings inside for attaching restraints. It has a thick pad which fits into a rigid plastic tray with a reinforced frame, instead of the Original model's bottom made of MDF. The pad is easily removed for cleaning. Also it has a top zipper opening for a taller dog to stick their head through. If you have a dog large or small that for some reason could not keep up when you bike or you are uncomfortable with them running along side, but want them to be with you, DoggyRide may be the solution. It can double as a grocery hauler too if you like to ride your bike to the store. Depending on the model, with additional attachments DoggyRides can be converted to Doggy Strollers or Joggers.

Curt Manufacturing 11384 Class I Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)The Curt Manufacturing Class 1 receiver (11384) I purchased was installed on my 2007 MazdaSpeed 3. This is my first time installing, owning, and using towing equipment, so I was unsure of the results. I use it for a hitch mounted bike rake that holds 4 bikes.
Install:
The install was simple and required the drilling of four (I think) holes in the rear bumper frame assembly. It was simple and done with a battery hand drill. Next, fishing the bolts through the end-caps of the bumpers to the newly drilled holes using a guidewire took patience and an ounce of luck. After the second one they seemed to go in rather quickly. Finally torque all nuts down to spec. Overall, it took about 45 minutes with no prior experience.
Fit:
The receiver was actually too small and had some gap between the bumper frame assembly and the outer flanges of the receiver. Some reviewers recommended hammering/bending it into shape (we were unable to do this). I kept torquing down the nuts evenly and bent the flanges into shape that way. Now it's snug, but in retrospect, I probably should've used some sort of spacer or pre-bent the flanges. The receiver box shows from behind the car but nothing else. Rear ground clearance has only been reduced by a 2-3 inches from that part.
Performance:
I've used the receiver with the aforementioned hitch mount bike rack many times. The way the receiver mounts allows a certain flexibility on the rack as the weight is kept about 2.5 feet from the mounting points. This allows the bikes and rack to bounce excessively with the slightest of bumps. I'm going to drill and bolt in two more bolts closer to the receiver mount to eliminate most of this bounce. It hasn't caused and problems yet (especially on a 2000 mile road trip with some scary highway bounce), but I want to be safe. This is why I'm giving this 4 stars: the bounce, and poor fit between the frame.
Overall, it's a fantastic receiver with a few niggles. I've owned it for several months and I would buy it again had I the choice. On a clean install, I would've like to have made the above mentioned changes as well.

(More customer reviews)On the first speed bump I hit, the cradle left the mount, thank God there was no traffic on the road and I was able to pick up my GPS before it got run over, I used some rubber tape to secure the cradle in the ball and then while going over a railroad track, the whole ball came off the mount. The one that looks like a zip tie works much better.

What's the point of even selling a lock if it's not anti-wobble? So, off I go, seeking now locally a true anti-wobble lock, having close to wasted $29.00. Sorry, but it's true.

(More customer reviews)All of the DVD's are very good, and have some variety to them so you don't feel like you are redoing the same workout over and over again. I've even used a couple back to back to increase the lenght of the workout and they do the job. If you have to spend the winter months in your basement this is a decent way to do it.
I like the instructions and the visual indicators on the screen for the gear and effort that is required works well and is easily visible. I found Spinervals easier to follow than the CTS series.

Motogear Helmet Bag Review

(More customer reviews)CONS: This bag is very snug and somewhat difficult to fit my helmet into. But I will also mention that I wear a XL ICON Domain II helmet that has a little spoiler kind of hanging off the top of the helmet. Does not have enough room to store an extra shield.
PROS: Made very well and offers a good degree of protection without being too bulky. The price was very good.
SUMMARY: Would I buy this bag again? Yes. I like a bag that does not take up a lot of space, has a snug fit and does what it is suppose to do. This bag fits my needs perfectly. Even if it would hold an extra shield I would probably not store one inside for fear it may become scratched or damaged in some way. Shields are too expensive to be messed with too much when not attached to a helmet. I keep my extra shields in my closet in a box designed for that.
