(More customer reviews)got this this hitch for my new 2011 ford escape xlt. received it and started putting it on right away , had no problems with installation at all . all i did was lower the muffler from the hangers which is not difficult (used my bare hands ). i was even able to leave the spare tire in it's place. installation was probably a 1/2 hr. , and it looks good too!!
