(More customer reviews)I have looked all over for roof mount cargo kits that were soft top AND that could be safely mounted to the roof top.
This kit has u-bolts (i believe thats what they are called) that slip under the cargo racks and tighten the box to the roof mounts.
All the other soft tops required tie-downs. I dont know about you, but when your doing 60-70 or even 80 MPH i dont have faith in those nylon tie downs and straps. I prefer the mounting bolts like the newer hard top carriers have. I dont want anything flying off my roof and causing an accident and hurting/killing somebody.
This comes with 4 bolts that screw tight, it has plenty of room, and best of all its folds up for easy storage (much easier to store then my sears xcargo hardtop) I still use 1 tiedown for piece of mind, but thats more for me to feel better ,b/c this thing does not move once its in place..
Oh yeah- its roomy!
