(More customer reviews)This adapter looks great. The 1.25" male connector is solid metal with the pin hole drilled through it. The center of the 1.25" male connector's pin hole is about 2.25" back from the 2" female receiver. The 2" female receiver is about 5.75" deep, with the center pin hole for the receiver set about 2.5" in.
I'm absolutely thrilled with the construction of it, from a visual inspection. I imagine it will have no problem supporting my bike rack. However, I did not realize that it does not come with the pin to attach it to the car through the 1.25" pin connector hole.
Bottom line: Heavy. Looks well made. Don't forget to order the connecting pin.
