(More customer reviews)It's a good product, and does what it is supposed to. My only problem with it was that the holes for the brackets that hold it on the bumper were drilled incorrectly. Took me a while to drill them out a little bigger so that the brackets would fit through correctly. They only fit sideways and not how they are supposed to.

(More customer reviews)I received this hitch in just two days and although the box was in pretty bad shape when It was dropped off, there was no damage. I got all the tools I needed including something to prop it up during installation and it only took me about 15 minutes including torquing the bolts. This is definitely the best fitting hitch I have installed and it is my fourth one. The fit and finish was perfect. Without their little fish wire this could have been considerably longer than the 20 minutes stated. I would definitely purchase another hitch from CURT MFG.

(More customer reviews)Product is well made and well finished. Reasonably easy to install. Did it by myself, but would recommend two people because of the weight - would have been simple then. On a 2009 Hyundai Sante Fe did not have to make any adjustments to heat shield or other to complete install. 4-bolts is all it takes. If you can hold a wrench, you can do this. Saved a bunch vs going to dealership or other retailer.

It was great items in term of heavy duty material used in it. Very well welded and bended, the picture is not the same of the item I was received I know that before I purchased the item so it was not surprising thing to me. It was shipped and sold by [....] they could not estimate the right price for the international shipping when I checked out so they sent me an email to add some money for the extra shipping cost to Saudi Arabia and I agreed. They were great with the time it got me with in 7-10 days with UPS.
I will give the item curt 13220 five stars but because one of the fitting holes was not directly fit due to miss calculated measurements in the factory of Curt. So you need to force it in which I did, or have it filed or something...
My car was VW Touareg 2005.

Curt Manufacturing 11327 Class I Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)We accidentally bought this hitch which is designed to fit newer accords rather than our year. After holding up the hitch to the car, we found out that the hitch lined up correctly on the frame but was short of the existing pre-drilled holes. So first, we unhooked the muffler and moved it to the side to gain access to the frame on the passengers side. Then, we marked and drilled new holes with a 7/16" drill bit in the frame on each side.
Then, the access hole was too small of fit the plate and bolt through it. So we squared off the round access hole by cutting two slits a short distance with a jig saw and bending the metal down with vice grips to fit the required hardware through it. After these two minor mods, the rest of the install went without a hitch. Total time was about 2 hours with all the extra work.
Directions are clear and it is setup to be installed easily on the correct vehicle. Most hitches for our year of accord mounted to the trunk pan which just didn't seem like a solid install; I wanted it mounted to the frame and missed that this wasn't for our year until it arrived at our doorstep. But all is well, and in the end we got a hitch that solidly mounts to the frame clearing the trunk pan and we are using it regularly to tow upwards of 1500lb with no problems!

(More customer reviews)Got this due to the fact that the OEM Honda 1.25" hitch did not inspire confidence when used with our Yakima Double Down 4 Yakima DoubleDown 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack
It arrived quickly and was well packed (no missing hardware). The powder coat finish looked very good.
It probably took a little over an hour to install, including removing the old hitch and plugging the holes with silicone. The little threaded pull wires are ingenious, and everyhting bolted up great.
Fits nice and tight up to the vehicle. Much more stable when used with the bike rack. With the 2" receiver I am also now looking forward to getting a cargo rack to transport my lawn mower or snowblower.

He was informing me that my Bike rack had broken and one of my bikes was just before hitting the road. One of the arms that support the bikes had broken totally off and was laying in the middle of the intersection. I thinked him, placed the bike inside my RV and continued on my trip. I would have never have thought this would happen. So be told the support arms can and will brake off.

A couple of minor drawbacks: the rack sticks out quite a bit from the receiver, and it takes a while to unscrew the top plate which holds the bikes on the rack--there are three handles which have to be unscrewed about 2", unlike some others where each cradle has its own fastener. I would definitely buy this product again, though.

Tire Cradle Car Bike Rack (4 Bikes) Review

As soon as I pushed down the ratcheting hold downs, the bottom wire cradles bent down and the bikes were not even close to being secure. There's no way I would trust this rack with any bikes. I returned the item. I had to eat the shipping costs.
