It helps in retrieving all items and you also will never bang your shin again on that frickin toe hitch, ouch. It's made of durable steel and covered in protective rubber and you can change out the cover on the LED to your company logo or favorite team. Great product, need to get 4 more for the rest of my trucks and what a price at $219.00

(More customer reviews)The Larin Cargo Carrier is just what I needed for my small car, a lighweight platform to carry barrels and other items I don't want or can't fit in the car.
The carrier came with both 2inch and 1-1/4inch load bars, which is much better than using an adapter. The only small catch was that instructions were not entirely clear about how the 2 halves fit together, but once attached the rest of the assembly went perfectly.

(More customer reviews)This particular item is fantastic! Functionality is awesome! The box itself is a little hard to handle by a single person, but can easily be handled by two. For security, go ahead and order the locking hitch pin, for stability reasons, order the hitch tightener, and for legality reasons, go ahead and order the license plate relocation kit with light. Unfortunately, I was awaiting the item for an upcoming trip, and when it arrived, the hardware and swingaway was not part of the shipment. The customer service that I received following that initial call was atrocious, and each process and escalation procedure that was, or wasn't followed needs to be looked at and corrected accordingly. I am in the customer service industry, and was extremely disappointed, not only in the ways that my issue was handled, but the number of times that I was lied to by representitives of the company. If one more persons reads me a script of how they are the supervisor on duty, and that a manager is not available, I'm going to scream, and insist yet AGAIN to speak to someone in the US. Overall a very sad, disappointing customer service experience, and I will make sure that hundreds and potentially thousands of people hear about it.

(More customer reviews)I bought my Cargo Carrier a few years ago to carry firewood for bonfires with groups of friends. It is amazing how often I use my Cargo Carrier to move around items that I normally wouldn't want in my vehicle, such as; sandy beach furniture, bags of concrete, grills and potentially leaking coolers. The best part about this particular model is the entire cargo carrier folds up and locks into place so that I can still have my cargo carrier with me at all times even if I'm not using it (extends about 6 inches). It makes it extremely useful to be able to leave it on the back of the vehicle when not in use and not having to take it on and off (as many times, you are away from home before you realize you need it). It turns any vehicle with a tow hitch into a 60" x 20" bed pickup truck.

On the neg side I noticed that there is some play in the hitch connector, so it tends to jump and make some noise when not fully loaded, but I found a work around with some sheet metal inserts. I would buy it again and recommend it to my friends.

(More customer reviews)It came in a few days but i was shocked when i saw that it came with no packaging at all. It was just the hitch with the bag of bolts and washers taped onto it. Lucky it didn't get bent during delivery. The install took a few hours because i couldnt figure out how to take off the hangers for the mufflers. After that it took some time to fishwire the bolts and spacers through the holes. After bout 3 hours the hitch and muffler was installed. Im happy with the look it gave my car.

This has happened on two different occasions. The concept is great and I hoped for something that was reliable. Too bad, I really hoped it would meet my needs considering its fairly high cost.

Curt Manufacturing 13096 Class III Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)The item seems to fit just fine and the weld look good. The item was shipped with no packaging or wrap and the parts fell out of the tongue area where they were taped into. So at this point I have to spend and hour returning it, plus the cost, or spend and hour at home depot to going to get bolts. The product seems great, I'm just a little disappointed the item is chipped which can rust faster and that all other parts are missing. I did receive a $30 discount to have the paint touched up from Amazon. When I called the company Curt told me to verify that the item was not damaged by checking it under the vehicle. She said often when it's been tossed around enough that the bolts have fallen out then the item is damaged enough to not fit even if it look ok to your eye. This shows me that there is a pattern to their shipping issues. They wouldn't just send me a bolt kit but referred me to any local company that would sell Curt hitches and I could get the kit if that company would take it off of one of their hitches; why would they do that it would make their $300 hitch worthless and I'm sure it would cost over $50 for $5 in bolts? My other choice is to ship it back and wait weeks again to possibly be back in the same spot, but with a hitch that is actually bent beyond being useful as the rep mentioned. I got the run around from the company and told them that I was going to post a review about everything and they were still not willing to help me. Amazon has been helpful so far as usual. It's amateur hour at Curt Manufacturing, just shrink wrap some cardboard to your hitches and send out spare parts rather than get bad reviews. I Would not recommend to a friend

(More customer reviews)I ordered on a Saturday and received the following Wednesday. Very high quality product with a glossy black paint finish. The bolts and nuts were also a very good grade. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. It took me approximately 15 minutes to install of which five minutes were spent looking to a 3/4" deep well socket. Might be a good idea to have someone help you lift it into place. I had my 16 year old son hold it up while I stated the bolts. I highly recommend this product! Very happy with my new hitch :).

Curt Manufacturing 11004 Class I Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)I installed one of these on a 2006 Miata. It took about 4.5 hours to install, and I took my time and was very methodical. The instructions are good and anyone who is comfortable working on a car will have no problem with the install.
The one caveat, which appears to be very common, is that this hitch causes a loud vibration noise under braking and at idle while stopped.
The fix is very simple. Simply put a hose clamp over each rear muffler hanger and tighten enough to keep the clamp on. That stops the noise cold.

Rola 59401 TX 104 Four Bike Hitch Mount Review

(More customer reviews)A design flaw allows the user to accidentally lock the rack while in the down position. Then, when returning the rack to the up position the lock pin sheers off while bending the main post beyond repair. With two bikes on the rack, raising the rack is so difficult that the slight added resistance of the lock demolishing the main post is barely noticeable. I spent twice as much on my next bike rack ... the Dura ... which is much easier to lower and raise, and does not self destruct.
