(More customer reviews)The Trac Rac system is a nice system and the tiedowns do their job quite well. I advise some method of locking them in place or remove them when you know you won't need them for a few days. They are a fairly easy and high theft item. They did not come directly from Amazon and the dealer in Florida sent the wrong items and caused a 3 week delay. Use caution when buying stuff that does not come directly from Amazon.

2008-2010 Subaru Tribeca Roof Rack Crossbars With Locks Review

(More customer reviews)This roof rack when mounted and tension set on the clamps, the plastic end cover cracked and broke off while another was cracked. The clamping device does not fit the countour of the vehicle top rails. The second fault was the unbearable resonance noise created when the vehicle was moving with no cargo load on the rack.. One would have to remove the rack each time it was not loaded to dampen the wind resonance.
This product was returned to the supplier for credit... which is pending.

Roof Rack Locking Cross Bars 2008 - 2010 Saturn Vue Review

(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a reasonably priced roof rack system, these will work. If you would rather spend more money on the actual trip than on your roof racks then these will fit the bill.
The fit and finish on this is less than stellar, and there is no mistaking them for the top of the line models. The locks are functional but when disengaged feel cheap and a couple of them actually pulled out of their housing (not a big deal, they slide right back in , but still.)
The other drawback is the instructions... or to be more precise... the lack of instructions makes this a tedious task to undertake for somebody that has never used a system like this before. But it is not rocket science, and any reasonably intelligent adult can figure it out... eventually.

Thule will not stand behind their products and let me return the kit. I have another Honda and the kit for that one fits great. So, try and find a review of the specific kit you want to buy before you buy it. Do NOT buy the 2171 kit expecting it to fit a 2006 Honda Civic. IT DOES NOT FIT.

(More customer reviews)I went against the grain when buying a rack and didn't buy Yakima or a Thule, I bought a Rhino Rack. They are great racks but they don't have the accessory line up of the other two mentioned. So after contacting Rhino Rack they pointed me to the Inno line. This is a great item. Fits perfectly on my system after a small bending of the mounting brackets to follow the contour of my rack. It doesn't bounce around like I have seem some people say and overall it does exactly what it's supposed to do and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fairing.

Roof Rack Locking Cross Bars Jeep Liberty Review

(More customer reviews)I hadn't unlocked the bars for about 8 months and they had been exposed to very little moisture (southern NM). When I turned the lightweight aluminum key to unlock the bars it unexpectedly snapped off at the edge of the key hole. This made it nearly impossible to get the key out, and I only have one key. Although the rack and crossbars are still functional, it defeats the advantage of having a secure system. Also, at about 45 mph the bars issue a loud whistling sound. I don't recommend this product.

Yakima 8000140 Rail Grab Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these for a Volvo V50. They are "universal" fit which means they fit everything okay and probably nothing perfectly. The curve isn't an exact match, and the plastic keeper claw isn't an exact match (to the Volvo rails), so a little light shows through. But that said, they are well made, very secure, and look fine on the vehicle. The 48" cross bars are a little wide, and I'm debating on whether to trim them or not. Personal taste.
One very minor but annoying idiosyncrasy - the locking piece for securing the crossbars will come off the end of the tightening screw (if you loosen it all the way out). It's a real pain to get it threaded back on the screw, you need to take the cross bar out. This can be extra work if you already have bike racks installed and they have to be loosened or removed too.
